Exercise is a very important activity that helps to keep you healthy and active. Exercising effectively is important to making sure you get the maximum results from your workout. Why word harder when you can work smarter? We want you to get the most out of your exercise when you decide to hit the gym or go for a walk. We did some searching and found three apps to help you get the most out of your workout.
Charity Miles for Android and iOS
Who doesn’t love giving to community? You can earn money for charities every time you bicycle, run, or walk when you use this app. How it works is corporate sponsors agree to donate a couple of cents for each mile you are able to complete. You can even browse the list of charities on the app, choose the one you support, and continue exercising. The best part is the app is completely free to download and use. The more people who use this app, the more the money will continue to add up over time. Talk about a great motivation to workout, right?
Fitbit for Web, Android, Windows Phone, and iOS
Fitbit is another free app you can download to help you keep track of your workouts. The best part about this app is the versatility to use it across multiple platforms. People who take their workouts more seriously than others will appreciate the features this one has to offer. You don’t need a tracker to use this app to count your footsteps, you can carry your phone with you for that feature.
Fitbit counts your steps, helps you track calories, log weight, and helps to keep track of other important health information. When you own a Fitbit tracker the app logs in a large amount of the information automatically. You can even buy a bathroom scale that goes with the app which adds your weight automatically to the rest of the information.
Jefit Workout for iOS and Android
This is another free app, but don’t let its simple design fool you. This mobile app provides you with a better way to keep track of reps and sets. The Jefit Workout uses simple tools to help you keep track of your workout routines and crafting a personalized weightlifting workout for you. You can log in reps and sets to show how much you lifted during your workout. This is not an app with a whole host of features, but it’s effective in its execution.
You can download each of these apps for free. They are a few that have a small fee for the premium version or the option of using devices connected to them.
